Shri Apoorv Sarvaria

Shri Apoorv Sarvaria did his graduation in law from University School of Law and Legal Studies, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. He got enrolled as an Advocate in the year 2009 and practiced mainly in the High Court of Delhi. He joined the Delhi Judicial Service (DJS) in the year 2011 at a very young age. Simultaneously, he pursued his Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the Indian Law Institute, New Delhi with specialization in ‘Criminal Law’ and ‘Human Rights’ where he secured the 2nd Rank in his batch.

During his tenure in the Delhi Judicial Service (DJS), he has presided over the courts of Civil Judge and Metropolitan Magistrate at Patiala House Courts, Tis Hazari Courts and Rohini Courts wherein he has dealt with and decided many civil and criminal cases. He has also served as the Additional Coordinator, Delhi International Arbitration Centre at the High Court of Delhi.

From early days as a law student, Shri Apoorv Sarvaria has co-authored many legal commentaries including Mulla CPC, Registration Act, Nelson’s Indian Penal Code and commentaries on other civil and criminal laws. He had also assisted in contribution in Halsbury’s Laws of India series and Halsbury’s Annotated Statutes of India series in Criminal Law and Procedure.  He is one of the Master Trainers in Ecourts project, appointed by the E-Committee of the Supreme Court of India. Presently, he is posted as the Nodal Officer at the Delhi State Legal Services Authority.
