After one year, she approached the police station and FIR was registered against the accused under Section 363\/366\/376 IPC and Section 6 POCSO Act. The matter was taken up before the Hon\u2019ble Court at Tis Hazari, Central District, Delhi.<\/p>\n<p>I. Counseling and mental support: &#8211;<br \/>\nThe victim was referred for counselling on 21.08.2025, \u00a0A structured, multi \u2013phase therapeutic approach was initiated to address psychological distress and support emotional recovery.<\/p>\n<p>II. Medical and Financial Challenges: &#8211;<br \/>\nThe victim faced grave physical and emotional trauma after incident and living without financial resources. Victim is now married , a homemaker and mother of three minor children, her husband earning below \u20b95,000 per month as a daily wage labourer . Due to these conditions, she remained dependent on the support extended through legal aid and victim assistance schemes.<\/p>\n<p>III. Intervention: &#8211;<br \/>\nThe Hon\u2019ble Court considered her case and awarded \u00a0final compensation of \u20b910,50,000\/-, with scheduled disbursement to ensure sustained financial support. The immediate release of \u20b92,62,500\/- enabled her access to medical care and safe accommodation for herself and her children.<\/p>\n<p>IV. Proceedings of the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board: &#8211;<br \/>\nThe Victim Impact Assessment Report confirmed her vulnerability, lack of education, poor financial background, and urgent need for rehabilitation. The Hon\u2019ble Court emphasized that the victim had suffered severe physical and psychological trauma and required rehabilitation measures, particularly since she had to care her children. The compensation order was passed in compliance of judgment of Hon\u2019ble High Court of Delhi in X vs. State of NCT of Delhi to ensuring maximum benefit to the victim.<\/p>\n<p>V. Outcome and Current Status: &#8211;<br \/>\nThrough legal intervention and counselling, the victim received financial &amp; psychological assistance which enabled her to stabilize her life. The proactive intervention of Cenral DLSA at Tis Hazari Court ensured that the victim\u00a0 receive compensation without delay, which enabled her to afford necessary \u00a0facilities for both herself and her children. As of now, the victim is living a healthy and dignified life with her children.
