East DLSA organized a visit of students from GGSSS, New Kondli, Delhi to observe proceedings of Karkardooma Courts on 15.02.2017. This was a nice Educational Trip for them. They watched proceedings of Courts of Metropolitan Magistrates, Sessions Judges, Additional District Judge, Additional Sessions Judge, Mediation, Front Office of DLSA East. This was a reality check for the students as they had perceived a different concept of Courts as shown in pictures which could be changed through this visit only. The students remarked that an inquisitiveness to know about working of justice system in our country had developed by this visit
As directed by the Hon’ble District & Sessions Judge/Chairman (DLSA)/East, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi, a Court Visit of around 40 students of Campus Law Centre including the participants of Painting Competition held on 30.09.2016 has been scheduled for 08.02.2017 at 02:00 pm onwards at Conference Hall, IIIrd Floor, Karkardooma Court, Delhi. The students are given an opportunity to observe the proceedings of various Courts, Mediation Centre, Front Office of DLSA etc. Thereafter, the students were given an opportunity to interact with Ms. Illa Rawat, Ld. POLC & Ms. Bhawani Sharma, Ld. Secretary DLSA East. At last the Prize distribution ceremony of the aforesaid painting competition organised. Apart from the winners of 1st, 2nd & 3rd position of the competition also the certificate of participation were distributed amongst all the participants. It was a successful event.
