Colony, Madanpur Khadar, New Delhi-110076.\u00a0Adv. Divya Narain, LAC, acted as the\u00a0Resource Person and\u00a0sensitised the participants\u00a0about the importance\u00a0of the right\u00a0to know and\u00a0access to information\u00a0as a means\u00a0of legal empowerment\u00a0and effective access\u00a0to justice. The\u00a0participants were apprised\u00a0of their rights, available legal remedies\u00a0and the role\u00a0of legal services\u00a0institutions in facilitating\u00a0access to justice. They were also\u00a0made aware about\u00a0the\u00a0DSLSA Helpline No. 1516 (24\u00d77),\u00a0NALSA Helpline No. 15100, and the salient\u00a0working of DLSA. The programme aimed\u00a0at empowering the\u00a0students and staff\u00a0with awareness regarding\u00a0access to information, legal rights and\u00a0available legal services, thereby enabling them\u00a0to make informed\u00a0decisions and effectively\u00a0access justice.
