On 27th October, 2014, Delhi State Legal Services Authority inaugurated Mass Legal Literacy Campaign and Opening of Legal Literacy Clubs in Schools and Colleges at Plenary Hall, Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi by Hon’ble the Chief Justice of India. Hon’ble the Chief Justice of High Court of Delhi and other Hon’ble Judges of Supreme Court of India and High Court of Delhi were also present on the occasion. Since then, DSLSA has established 1040 Legal Literacy Clubs in Govt. and Govt. Aided Schools. Approx. 2.5 to 3 Lakhs students are the members of these Schools Legal Literacy Clubs.


The Ld. Officers of DSLSA/Ld.Secretaries of DLSAs addresses Legal Literacy/Awareness Programmes for students on the topics of Anti-Ragging Laws, An Overview of Fundamental Rights and Duties under Constitution of India, Legal Services Authorities Act, Women’s Rights, Protection of Women from Sexual Harassment at Workplace, Rise of Cyber Crime against Women and Children, Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, PC & PNDT Act, Environmental Laws etc.
