As directed by d Hon\u2019ble District Sessions Judge\/Chairman (DLSA)\/East, Karkardooma Courts, DLSA East organised a SUMMER VACATION in 38 Government Schools for d School students on d topics \u2013 POCSO Act, Child Labour, Right to Education & Fundamental Duties\u2013 on 26.05.16 at 8:00 am simultaneously. The campaign covered around 4000 students for Legal Literacy during a single day.<\/p>\n

The Inauguration Function of d Campaign was held at Sarvodaya Sr. Secondary, School, Mayur Vihar Ph- I, Pkt-II in d August presence of Hon\u2019ble District & Sessions Judge\/Chairman (DLSA)\/East and Ms. Bhawani Sharma, Secretary ( DLSA)\/ East. While addressing d children, Hon\u2019ble D & SJ alongside various legal aspects pointed out d importance of Teacher- Student relationship. He also pointed out d need and utility of knowing and understanding d legal system & legal Provisions.<\/p>\n

Ms. Bhawani Sharma, Secretary DLSA East, addressed d students on various general Provisions of Law which should be known and understood by d students in day to life. She also pointed out the ways in which girl students may seek d help of DLSA, in case of any offence. She also had an interactive question-answer round with d students and gave prizes to d students giving relevant answers.
\nSh. Umesh Gupta & Sh. Umesh Chandra Mishra, Legal Aid Counsels were d Resource Persons for d Programme and addressed d students on respective topics.<\/p>\n

Dr. Virender Singh, Principal of d afternoon shift and Ms. Anita Singh, Principal of d Morning Shift of d school, Sh. Preshant Rasogi, Compliance officer, DLSA East, SHO : PS Mayur Vihar, Members of SMC of School, Teachers of Schools and officials of DLSA East were present in d programme and made sincere efforts to make d campaign a big success.
