DLSA South-East, under the aegis of NALSA and DSLSA, organised an awareness session on the occasion of Women\u2019s Equality Day on the topic \u201cJustice Within Reach: Women\u2019s Legal Rights and Free Legal Assistance\u201d on 27.08.2026 at Lady Shri Ram College for Women, Lajpat Nagar-IV, New Delhi. Adv. Harshita Lulla, Legal Services Advocate (LSA), DLSA South-East, acted as the Resource Person and sensitised the participants about the legal rights and remedies available to women, access to free legal aid, and the role of DLSA in ensuring access to justice. The participants were also informed about various legal safeguards available for women and the mechanisms for seeking legal assistance. They were further made aware of DSLSA Helpline No. 1516 (24\u00d77) and NALSA Helpline No. 15100 for seeking legal assistance. The objective of the programme was to promote legal awareness among women and empower them by informing them about their legal rights, available remedies, and access to free legal services.
