The applicant was aggrieved by the Ld. DM\u2019s order which had directed
\nthe eviction of the applicant from her matrimonial home.
\nWe were able to assist the applicant in a speedy and effective manner,
\nwhereby an appeal against the impugned order was preferred within
\nlimitation and the applicant got the interim stay to continue to live in the
\nsubject premises.
\nOn 8th December 2023, final arguments were addressed in the matter
\nand the Ld. Divisional Commissioner was pleased to allow the appeal of
\nthe applicant.
\nThe final judgment is fruitful and effective in terms of the fact that not
\nonly did it protect the rights of residence of the applicant in her
\nmatrimonial home, but owing to the applicant\u2019s husband\u2019s despicable
\nconduct in general towards the applicant as well as the instances of
\ndomestic violence, and the respondent No.1 (Mother-in-law) having
\nmade the original complaint against her son as well, the Ld. Divisional
\nCommissioner categorically upheld the eviction order against the
