In case with FIR No. 232\/13 PS: GTB Enclave, Ms. Sapna (Acid Attack
\nVictim) was granted interim compensation of Rs. 50,000\/- vide order dated
\n13.12.2013. As per Delhi Victims Compensation Scheme, further interim
\ncompensation of Rs. 2,50,000\/- was awarded to the victim vide order dated
\n28.12.2013.
\nLater, on completion of the trial, vide order dated 19.09.2017, victim was
\ngranted Rs. 1,50,000\/- as final compensation. Vide said order dated
\n19.09.2017, directions were given to Principal secretary, Health and Family
\nWelfare, Government of NCT, Delhi to ensure adequate arrangement to
\nprovide free medical cost cover for treatment and surgeries of the victim.
\nThe said compensation awarded to the victim helped her to turn up her life and
\nlater, she also got permanent job with DSLSA and she joined her duties as
\nL.D.C.
