<\/p>\nShahdara District Legal Services Authority under the aegis of NALSA and DSLSA has conducted a Legal awareness programme at GBSS-Vivek Vihar within Shahdara district on 25th July, 2024, from 09:30 a. m. To 11:30 pm<\/p>\n
We discussed about the consensual and toxic relationship and when we should stop being in a relationship that is toxic, manipulative and coerced. The laws related to cyber laws that is Information Technology Act and POCSO Act and how it will help the victims was also discussed. We made the students understand what was the purpose of this legal awareness programme and the students showed enthusiasm during the entire session. Even the faculty also took part in the session and we discussed the positives and negatives of being in a relationship and what is consent and why law has created 18 as an age of being major. If also informed them if they encounter such situation then they should inform it to their parents, teachers and police. If they see any bad thing happening to their friends or family members, then also they should apprise about it to their parents or teachers. It is important for them to speak about it.
