During the programme, awareness was imparted to women and adolescent girls regarding the importance of menstrual hygiene, proper use and disposal of sanitary napkins, prevention of menstrual infections, and maintenance of overall reproductive health. The participants were also sensitized about various legal rights and welfare measures available for women.<\/p>\n<p>Further, sanitary napkins were distributed among the women and adolescent girls present at the venue.
