Shahdara District Legal Services Authority organized a *Mega Services Camp* on *23.08.2026* \"\" \"\" \"\" \"\" \"\" \"\" \"\"at *SKV\/GNSS School, New Seemapuri*, with the objective of bringing various legal services and Government welfare schemes\/services closer to the doorstep of the general public.<\/p>\n

The Mega Services Camp was organized to create awareness among the residents regarding the *free and competent legal services available through the District Legal Services Authority*, while simultaneously facilitating access to various welfare schemes and Government services. The camp also aimed to provide immediate guidance and assistance to beneficiaries, particularly persons belonging to vulnerable and disadvantaged sections of society.<\/p>\n

During the camp, various *Help Desks* were established to provide information, facilitation and assistance to the beneficiaries. The following services were made available:<\/p>\n

1. *Aadhaar Facilitation Services* \u2013 Assistance and guidance regarding Aadhaar-related services and issues.
\n2. *Labour Card Facilitation Desk* \u2013 Assistance to workers regarding registration and labour welfare-related services.
\n3. *Pink Card Registration Desk* \u2013 Facilitation regarding registration and related welfare benefits.
\n4. *e-Shram Registration Desk* \u2013 Assistance to eligible unorganised workers for e-Shram registration and information regarding associated benefits.
\n5. *Ayushman Card Registration Desk* \u2013 Facilitation for eligible beneficiaries for registration and access to healthcare benefits under the Ayushman scheme.
\n6. *Senior Citizen Card Registration Desk* \u2013 Assistance and information regarding registration and welfare services available to senior citizens.
\n7. *One Stop Centre Help Desk* \u2013 Information and assistance regarding support and services available to women affected by violence and other related issues.
\n8. *Medical Camp* \u2013 Basic medical assistance, health check-up and necessary guidance were provided to the participants.
\n9. *Legal Help Desk* \u2013 The DLSA team provided information regarding free legal aid, legal advice, counselling, assistance in legal matters and other legal services available under the legal services framework.<\/p>\n

The *Legal Help Desk* particularly focused on creating awareness about the availability of *free legal services*, eligibility for legal aid, legal advice and assistance, and the role of DLSA in facilitating access to justice. The public was also sensitized about various legal services and mechanisms available for resolving disputes and protecting their legal rights.<\/p>\n

The camp witnessed participation from members of the local community and beneficiaries who approached the different help desks for information, registration and assistance. The officials and personnel deputed at the respective desks interacted with the beneficiaries, addressed their queries and guided them regarding the procedure and documentation required for availing the concerned services.<\/p>\n

The organization of the Mega Services Camp provided a *single-window platform* where members of the public could obtain information and assistance regarding legal services as well as various Government welfare schemes and essential public services. Such initiatives play an important role in *bridging the gap between the Government service delivery system and the beneficiaries*, particularly those who may otherwise face difficulties in accessing such services.<\/p>\n

The camp successfully promoted the objectives of *access to justice, legal awareness, social welfare and citizen facilitation*, and reaffirmed the commitment of Shahdara District Legal Services Authority towards ensuring that legal and welfare services reach the intended beneficiaries in an accessible and effective manner.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
