Rohit Kataria, LAC, with the assistance of Sh. Kamta Prasad, PLV, with the objective of creating awareness among workers regarding their legal rights and entitlements, particularly those engaged in the unorganized sector.<br \/>\nDuring the session, the participants were apprised about the provisions and benefits available under the NALSA (Legal Services to the Workers in the Unorganized Sector) Scheme, 2015. The participants were also sensitized regarding labour rights, minimum wages, consumer protection and precautions against financial frauds.<br \/>\nThe Resource Person explained the importance of receiving minimum wages and the available legal remedies in case of non-payment or violation of labour rights. The workers were also informed about their rights as consumers and the procedure for seeking redressal of consumer grievances.
