From time to time, DSLSA conducts Para Legal Volunteers Training Programmes for students, social workers, jail inmates, para medicals etc. Till 30th April, 2015, DSLSA has trained 2310 PLVs.
DSLSA has allocated 978 PLVs to its DLSAs for taking their services on rotation basis. “54” PLVs have been assigned to this Authority. This Authority is utilizing their services at various places including Lok Adalat, Legal Awareness Programmes at community level, in Legal Literacy Clubs, for organising Door to Door Campaigns, at various Legal Services Clinics organised at DM Office, District Labour Office etc., at Legal Help Desk set up at Family Court, to implement the NALSA/DSLSA schemes and other programme as directed by DSLSA or found appropriate by Ld. Chairperson/ DLSA.
