On 7th February, 2025, South-East, District Legal Services Authority under the aegis of National Legal Services Authority & Delhi State Legal Services inaugurated the 15th Round of Add-on-Course for 48 students of PGDAV College (Eve.), Several awareness sessions were conducted as part of the program, as detailed below:

  • On 07.02.2025, an awareness session was conducted on the topics: “Gender Justice” (1) Domestic Violence and the Protection of Women under the Domestic Violence Act, 2005, and (2) Sexual Harassment in the Workplace. Ms. Kanika Jain, Ld. Secretary of North-West DLSA was the resource person for the session.
  • On 11.02.2025, an awareness session was conducted on the topics: (1) Fundamental Rights & Fundamental Duties and (2) Access to Justice: Role of DSLSA. Sh. Abhinav Singh, Ld. Secretary of South-East DLSA was the resource person for the session.
  • On 14.02.2025, an awareness session was conducted on the topics: (1) Vulnerability and Concerns for Safety of Children, (2) Protections for Children under POCSO Act : Essential Features and (3) Children & Juvenile Justice Act 2015:- A Brief overview. Sh. Kamal Dev Singh, Dy. LADC of South-East DLSA was the resource person for the session.
  • On 18.02.2025, an awareness session was conducted on the topics: Law in our day to day life:- (1) Traffic Challans (Lok Adalat), (2) Motor Accidents (Compensation) MACT and (3) How to report a Crime/Register E-FIR. Sh. Abhishek Sharma, Asstt. LADC and Sh. Ahsas Dhanrajani, Asstt. LADC of South-East DLSA were the resource persons for the session.
  • On 25.02.2025, an awareness session was conducted on the topics: (1) Parents and Senior Citizens – Our Assets and (2) Social and Legal Responsibility under Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007. Ms. Parvathi Menon, Advocate was the resource person for the session.
