The 2nd Special Lok Adalat of the year 2026 was organised on 05.04.2026 under the guidance of the National Legal Services Authority and the Delhi State Legal Services Authority. The programme aimed to provide an effective platform for the amicable settlement and disposal of NBT traffic challan cases. A total of 20 benches were constituted at DLSA South-East to take up the referred traffic challans, comprising 11,148 cases. The Lok Adalat proved highly effective, with 9,905 challans successfully disposed of. This initiative provided citizens with a valuable opportunity to resolve their NBT traffic challans in a swift, efficient, and hassle-free manner. Glimpses of the programme are appended below.
