DLSA South-East, under the aegis of NALSA and DSLSA, organised an awareness programme on “Environmental Protection is not only a Moral Duty but a Legal Responsibility – Protect Today to Secure Tomorrow” and the “Prohibition of Child Marriage Act (PCMA)” for women and the general public on 08.01.2026 at SSK-48, ICDS, Johri Farm. A Legal Services Advocate from DLSA South-East acted as the Resource Person and sensitised the participants on the said topics. The objective of the programme was to create awareness about environmental protection as a legal responsibility and to inform participants about the provisions and implications of the Prohibition of Child Marriage Act. The programme witnessed the participation of approximately 25 participants.
