DLSA South-East, under the aegis of NALSA and DSLSA, organised an awareness programme on the occasion of International Women’s Day on the topic “Understanding Cyber Safety, Social Media Risks for Women” on 09.03.2026 at Meerabai DSEU Campus, for students and staff. The programme was organised with the objective of creating awareness about the risks associated with social media, while also informing participants about their legal rights and the availability of legal services. A Legal Services Advocate from DLSA South-East acted as the Resource Person and sensitised the participants about cyber safety, online risks faced by women, and precautionary measures to ensure safe use of digital platforms. The programme witnessed the participation of approximately 100 students and faculty member.
