Success Story
There have been a series of success stories but I would like to mention a few of them for the sake of ready reference:
1. Legal Aid case of Ms.Anna Kanojia-a teenager
The Legal Aid case of the applicant was marked to me to defend her in Civil Suit for damages bearing No. CS SCJ/ 50271/2016 titled as, “Shobha Agnihotri Vs. Aana Kanojia”, pending adjudication before the Hon’ble Civil Judge, Saket Court. This girl was studying in college. When I first met this girl along with her mother, that she was so frightened on account of the case and was barely able to concentrate on her studies. On the request of her mother the girl was counselled by the Undersigned and was clearly told that she need not worry as this Hon’ble Authority has appointed the Undersigned to take care of her entire worries. Believe you me that she was so relieved after this interaction. The Undersigned defended her in the case and within a short span got the Plaint rejected vide Order dated 22.10.2016 passed by the Hon’ble Court of Ms. Shelly Arora, ASCJ, Saket Courts as no cause of action was made out.
2. Legal Aid case of Smt. Surma Rani-a Senior Citizen
The Legal Aid Applicant was thrown out by her own children from her house. She had been fighting for long to get her house vacated. The Applicant was marked the following cases of the Applicant:
I. Execution No. 197/ 2015- Surma Rani Vs. Swaran Kanta pending adjudication before the Court of Ms. Prabhdeep Kaur, CJ, Saket Courts
II. Misc. No. 01/ 2016- Surma Rani Vs. Swaran Kanta pending adjudication before the Court of Ms. Prabhdeep Kaur, CJ, Saket Courts
III. Misc. No. 04/ 2016- Swaran Kanta Vs. Surma Rani pending adjudication before the Hon’ble Court of Sh. Balwant Rai Bansal, ADJ, Saket Courts
The Undersigned duly represented her in the aforementioned cases. The Undersigned not only won all of them but also got her the possession of her house. It was a great achievement for her at such an age.
3. Legal Aid Case of Sh.Ranjit Singh- a Senior Citizen
The Legal Aid case of the applicant was marked to the undersigned to different him in a case of partition being CS DJ No. 210891 titled as, “Manjeet Singh Vs. Ranjit Singh & Ors.”, by his own younger brother. The Undersigned intervened in the matter and got the matter settled out of Court. Vide Order dated 06.11.2017 passed by the Hon’ble Court of Sh. Naresh Kumar Laka, ADJ, Saket Courts the case was disposed of as withdrawn on account of the mutual settlement.
4. Legal Aid case of Ms. Neelu Chandra- a Senior Citizen
The Legal Aid case of the Applicant was marked to the Undersigned to defend her in the two cases filed against her. That after spending her entire savings she had purchased a house. That after making timely payments in accordance with mutual agreement, the vendor failed to execute the Sale Deed and on the contrary filed a case for eviction and damages alleging defamation. The said long pending civil suit for damages being CS DJ No. 208143/ 2016 titled as Kuldip Kumar Sharma Vs. Neelu Chandra which was at the stage of evidence was disposed off vide Order dated 17.09.2018 passed by the Hon’ble Court of Sh. Vipin Kumar Rai, ADJ, Saket Courts as no cause of action was made out.
5. The Undersigned had recently conducted Talks/ Lectures at the prestigious colleges of Delhi University on E-Waste Management i.e. Dyal Singh College, Acharya Narendra Dev College and PGDAV college. The Undersigned received a lot of appreciations in all these colleges and was also felicitated with Momentos. The students actively participated in the same and the college Authorities requested the Undersigned to conduct such lectures frequently.
These are only some of the stories which have been worded by the Undersigned. The blessings received from the Legal Aid Applicants cannot be put in words. I keep looking forward to this Association with this Hon’ble Authority.
