On 27th February 2025, South-East and South District Legal Services Authorities (DLSAs) jointly organized a Capacity Building Training Programme for Legal Aid Defence Counsels (LADCs) and Empanelled Legal Services Advocates (LSAs) at the Seminar Hall, 7th Floor, Saket Courts Complex, New Delhi. The training focused on the “Role of Advocates in Society and the Process of Mediation, including the Mediation Act, 2023.” The program aimed to enhance the skills and understanding of LADCs and LSAs regarding the evolving role of advocates in society and the legal framework surrounding mediation under the new Mediation Act. The training was attended by 32 LADCs and LSAs from South-East DLSA.
