DLSA South-East, under the aegis of NALSA, successfully conducted a door-to-door campaign on the “Prohibition of Child Marriage Act (PCMA)” as part of the NALSA Scheme ASHA (Awareness, Support, Help & Action) and the MWCD’s 100-Day “Bal Vivah Mukt Bharat” initiative. The campaign was organized in association with Vision for Oasis Waves Society (VOWS) at Madanpur Khadar J.J. Colony, near Chakor Park, on 04.02.2026. The programme aimed to eradicate child marriage and promote safe, educated, and empowered children and communities by raising awareness about legal rights and the availability of legal services. Two Para-Legal Volunteers (PLVs) actively covered the local community and effectively spread the message. During the campaign, the PLVs engaged with approximately 350 community members.
