- The 1st National Lok Adalat for the year 2025 was held on March 08, 2025, under the guidance of the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) and Delhi State Legal Services Authority (DSLSA). This event aimed to resolve various legal matters through amicable settlements, excluding divorce cases. It also provided a platform to address traffic challans. On this occasion South-East DLSA in collaboration with South DLSA established various stalls of self-help groups and Tihar Prison at Saket Courts Complex through which different type of handmade items were sold to the litigant who visited the court during National Lok Adalat. The gathering was approx 4,000. Stalls for following items were established:-
- Jewellery, Bakery, Wooden
- Home decoration, paper bag
- Painting
- Candles, Soaps and Snacks
- Jute Bags, Coasters and flowers
- Eco friendly Holi Colors
- Homemade Aachar
- Homemade Dhoopbatti
- Showpiece
The Sukhmanch Theatre Group also performed a street play (Nukkad Natak) focusing on the theme of “Women Empowerment.”
The event was attended by Hon’ble Mr. Justice Vibhu Bakru, Executive Chairman of DSLSA, along with other judicial officers.
