On 26th November 1949, the Constituent Assembly of India adopted the Constitution, marking the dawn of a new era in Indian democracy. This day is celebrated as Constitution Day to honor the adoption of the guiding document that enshrines the principles of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity.
In line with the directions from the Delhi State Legal Services Authority, a Preamble Reading Program was organized at the Conference Hall of the District Legal Services Authority on 26th November 2024, at 11:00 AM. Staff members from both North and North-West districts came together to commemorate this historic day.
The program began with the collective reading of the Preamble, reaffirming our dedication to the Constitution’s ideals. The event highlighted the shared responsibility of everyone present to uphold the constitutional values in their professional and personal lives.
This solemn gathering served as a powerful reminder of the importance of unity and inclusivity in building a just society, inspiring all participants to carry forward the legacy of our Constitution.
