The 2nd National Lok Adalat for the year 2025 was held on 10th May 2025, under the guidance of the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) and Delhi State Legal Services Authority (DSLSA). This event aimed to resolve various legal matters through amicable settlements, excluding divorce cases. It also provided a platform to address traffic challans.

A total of 32 benches were formed in South-East DLSA to handle the cases referred by regular courts. Out of these, 14 benches were designated for regular matters, while 18 benches were specifically focused on traffic challans (NBT Challans). The total number of cases referred to the Lok Adalat was 14,972, including 9727 traffic challans.

The Lok Adalat proved to be highly effective, with 11,646 cases successfully disposed of, showcasing the commitment to expedite justice and promote settlement through alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.

The event provided valuable opportunities for citizens to resolve legal matters quickly and efficiently.
