DLSA South-East, under the aegis of NALSA and DSLSA, organised an awareness session on the topic “Ensuring Access to Justice for Road Accident Victims: Legal Rights, Compensation and Free Legal Aid through DLSA” on 06.08.2026 at ICD Park, near Inland Container Depot, MB Road, Tughlakabad, Delhi-110044, for the general public. Adv. Rakesh Singh Kaliramna, Legal Services Advocate (LSA), DLSA South-East, acted as the Resource Person and sensitised the participants about the legal rights of road accident victims, the compensation available to them, and the remedies and free legal aid services provided through DLSA. Mr. Vijay Kumar Mouriya, PLV, assisted the Resource Person during the session and facilitated the awareness activities. The participants were also made aware of DSLSA Helpline No. 1516 (24×7) and NALSA Helpline No. 15100 for seeking legal assistance. The objective of the programme was to create awareness among the public regarding the legal rights and remedies available to road accident victims and to facilitate their access to justice, compensation, and free legal aid through DLSA. The programme witnessed the participation of approximately 25 beneficiaries.
