STORY OF A CRIMINAL CASE

          The applicant in this case was a very poor man namely Johnny @ Aman, R/o. Pratap Nagar, Delhi, who was implicated for an offence U/s 25/54/59 Arms Act on account of alleged possession of illegal knife. This accused was produced before the court concerned after being arrested by the police. Remand Advocate Sh. Vinod Kumar, deputed in the court concerned by this Authority in compliance of directions of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in case titled as “Mohammad Ajmal @ Mohammad Amir Kasab @ Abu Mujahid vs. State of Maharashtra”, duly interacted with accused and provided requisite legal representation to him as stipulated.

While court concerned dismissed first bail application of applicant/accused, LAC concerned persisted with his efforts and remained in touch with the applicant/accused while he was in Judicial Custody and after framing of charge against the applicant/accused, again moved an application for bail and relied on judgment of Hon’ble High Court of Delhi in “Ajay Verma vs. NCT of Delhi” WPC 10689/2017/15/12/17 and managed to secure bail to the applicant/accused on furnishing of personal bond as he was unable to furnish surety bond. The applicant/accused was extremely thankful to the LAC concerned for his meticulous and sincere efforts.
