In 2018, 85-year-old Mr. Darshan Lal Berry, a senior citizen, filed a civil suit to reclaim his shop and servant quarter at Princess Park, New Delhi, which were unlawfully occupied by his elder son. After years of legal struggle with a private advocate, he approached the New Delhi DLSA in 2023 for assistance. Advocate Neha Mishra was appointed to his case and, with her dedicated efforts and regular follow-ups by NDDLSA, the court ruled in his favor on 09.09.2024. Grateful for the support, Mr. Berry personally visited the NDDLSA office to express his appreciation. His younger son also acknowledged and thanked NDDLSA for legal services rendered by the Authority.
