DLSA South-East, under the aegis of the NALSA and the DSLSA, organised an awareness session under the JAGRITI – Justice Awareness for Grassroots Information and Transparency Initiative Scheme, 2025 on the topic “Good Touch, Bad Touch and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012” at Delhi Tamil Education Association (DTEA) Senior Secondary School, Lodhi Estate, New Delhi, on 18.07.2026. Palak Munjal, LSA, acted as the Resource Person and sensitised the students and staff members about the concepts of good touch and bad touch, the provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012, and the importance of reporting incidents of child sexual abuse. The participants were also informed about the availability of free legal aid, DSLSA Helpline No. 1516 (24×7), NALSA Helpline No. 15100, and the role and functioning of legal services institutions. The programme aimed to promote child safety, legal awareness, and the protection of children from sexual offences. The programme witnessed the participation of approximately 300 students and staff members.
