Lok Adalat
The execution petition no. 45824/2016 was settled at Lok Adalat held on 11.02.2017 vide order passed by Ld ADJ Ms. Nisha Saxena. Award in the matter was passed between the parties on 26.12.2015. The execution petition was filed on 26.04.2016. The matter has when tor about 5 hearings before settlement at Lok Adalat. The JD was not able to pay the amount of award though he was appearing regularly in the matter. The JD was requesting for installments as he has limited income. In view of such limited income the JD could not pay the entire amount in one siting. The DH was also suspicious of recovery of his amount in the arbitration award filed in the execution petition. The parties were pursuing the litigation in spite of having award in the nature of final decision between the parties. Both the parties have appeared several time to some how settle the matter. Both the parties were persuaded for settlement at Lok Adalat with the intimation that the concern of both the parties will be taken care of. In one siting only the matter has returned settled between the parties to the satisfaction of both the parties.
