The event scheduled on 6.05.24 at SBV, MayurVihar started at 4 pm. Mrs. Shikha Jain, was appointed as a resource person to delivered a session on laws regarding environmental protection and the duties and services of DLSA. The banner was set up in one of the classes and class 12 students were assembled for the lecture. Pamphlets were distributed to the students and the teachers present in the classroom. Laws associated with the environment were brought up and elaborated upon. It was a successful event and students also asked further queries regarding the same which were clarified by Mrs. Shikha Jain.She also explained the role of DLSA and how it has brought forth the legal aid in India. She also talked about how one can approach the courts and seek legal help for free given they fall under the requirements allotted for people to get free legal aid. Pamphlets were distributed and the contents of the pamphlets were explained to the general gathering of women.
