In compliance of directions of Delhi State Legal Services Authority and as directed by the Ld. District & Sessions Judge/Chairman (DLSA)/East, Karkardooma Court, Delhi on the occasion of “International Day of the Girl Child” with a view to make the girl students safer, confident and protected, DLSA (East) in association with Delhi Police & Authorities of Education Department and the concerned Schools of East District, under its Campaign “SASHKT BETI : SASHAKT BHARAT” have finalised to hold classes on “Techniques of Self Defence” for the girl students of different Government Girls & Co-ed Schools of East District Schools premises from 25.10.18 by deputing a team of experts of Delhi Police to teach and display the aforesaid techniques to the participants in the college premises itself.

With a view to bring the various stakeholders of the legal system face to face on the various issues concerning girl children, DLSA (East, North East and Shahdara) in association with “Sachhi Saheli NGO” organised a Sensitization-cum-Training Workshop (Nigrani Nahi, Jankari Chahiye) on the occasion of “International Day of Girl Child” on 11.10.2018 from 10:00 AM to 01:00 PM at EDMC Auditorium, 419 Udyog Sadan, Patparganj Industrial Area, Delhi, consisting of various activities including Nukkad Natak on Women Issues, Panel Discussions, Lectures etc.
