DLSA East organized a “Sensitization-cum-Training Programme for Police Officers, SHOs and JWOs of East District and Railway & Metro Unit”. Around 60 Police Officers participated in the programme on 28.09.2018 at 3:00 pm onwards at Conference Hall, 3rd floor, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi. Ms. Geetanjli Goel, Ld. Special Secretary, DSLSA was the Resource Person by delivering lectures on the topic “Role & Responsibility of Police Officers in cases related to Juveniles & POCSO Act”.

DLSA (East) organised a Court Visit of students of “MOTHER MARY’s, SCHOOL, MAYUR VIHAR PHASE-I” on 28.09.2018 at 10:30 am onwards. Various Courts Mediation Centre, DLSA Front Office etc. were shown to the students and they also had interaction with the Ld. Sitting Judges of the Courts. At last, the students were gathered at Conference Room of Karkardooma Courts, where the Secretary of DLSA (East) addressed them and also had interactive session with them. The students were very enthusiastic in making queries which were satisfactorily responded to by the Secretary. The visit was appreciated by all concerned.

District & Sessions Judge/Chairman (DLSA/East, Shahdara & North-East, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi with a view to create Awareness amongst the Industrial Workmen, DLSA East, DLSA Shahdara & DLSA North-East in association with office of “Dy Labour Commissioner (East & North-East)” and the Office of Chief District Medical Officer (East) held a Legal Awarenes Programme on the topic “Various Provisions and Schemes beneficial for Construction Labour & Services being provided by DLSA” followed by a “Health Camp” on 28.08.2018 at 10:00 am at NKG Construction Site, Behind Hotel Leela, Surajmal Vihar, Delhi. Ld. Secretary (DLSA)/East, North-East & Shahdara, attended the programme as “Resource Persons” by delivering lectures to the participants and having interactive session with them. “Health Camp” was conducted at the venue by the office of CDMO (East) by deputing a team of doctors wherein facility of Medical Tests such as HB, BP, Sugar etc. was provided free of cost. Regular medicines were also provided to the workers free of cost.
