On the occasion of “World Senior Citizens Day”, in compliance of the directions of DSLSA and as directed by the Ld. District & Sessions Judge/Chairman (DLSA)/East, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi, DLSA (East) in association with Office of the District Magistrate (East) set up a “Legal Services Clinic” at Senior Citizens’ Tribunal/Appellate Tribunal at the office of District Magistrate (East), Geeta Colony, Delhi – 110031 for the betterment of Senior Citizens by ensuring access to justice for them. The Inauguration of the aforesaid Legal Services Clinic was held on 21.8.2018 at 3:30 pm by the Ld. District & Sessions Judge/Chairman (DLSA)/East in the august presence of Ld. District & Sessions Judges of Shahdara & North-East Districts, Ld. Special Secretary, the District Magistrate (East), the Addl District Magistrate (East) and other high dignitaries. A good number of Senior Citizens and Media Persons also graced the occasion and appreciated the initiative.
