In compliance of directions of DSLSA, with a view to create Awareness amongst school students and to sensitize them, DLSA (East) organized an Awareness-cum-Sensitization Programme on the topic “Sexual Violence Module” at Bharti Public School Swasthya Vihar, Delhi on 01.12.2017 at 12:00 pm for a large number of school students. Sh. Pawan Kumar, Secretary (DLSA)/East himself attended the programme as Resource Person addressed the students on the subject through lectures, Power Point Presentation and interaction. Under the aegis of NALSA’s camping “CONNECTING TO SERVE” DLSA East has launched the Anganwadi Project “DEHLEEJ” by deputing PLVs to conduct Door to Door Campaign at Kalyan Puri, Delhi from 13.11.2017 to 25.11.2017 to have interaction with people at down-trodden areas, aware them about the Legal Aid Services provided by DLSA and distribute pamphlets of legal aid schemes during the said period.

DLSA (East) organised a Court Visit of students of Mayur Public School, IP Extn, Delhi on 20.11.2017 at 10:30 am onwards. Various Courts were shown to the students and they also had interaction with the Ld. Sitting Judges of the Courts. At last, the students were gathered at Conference Room of Karkardooma Courts, where the Secretary of DLSA (East) addressed them and also had interactive session with them.
