Monthly Training Programme of Criminal (MM), Session Panel, Civil, ADJ, & Family Panel Advocates, conducted on 31.07.2017 DLSA East has organized the monthly training programme for all the Legal Aid Counsels of DLSA East on 31th July 2017. Sh. Nariender Kumar, Ld. AD & SJ (East), had kindly consented to grace the occasion with his esteemed presence as Resource Person and delivered the lecture and interactive session with the participants on “Family Laws”. The participants appreciated the programme.

East DLSA organized a visit of students from St. Thomas Public School, Indrapura, Ghaziabad, UP to observe proceedings of Karkardooma Courts on 29.07.2017. This was a nice Educational Trip for them. They watched proceedings of Courts of Metropolitan Magistrates, Sessions Judges, Additional District Judge, Additional Sessions Judge, Mediation, Front Office of DLSA East. The students were interacted with Ld. Judges Ld. Secretary & replied their Queries satisfactorily. This was a reality check for the students as they had perceived a different concept of Courts as shown in pictures which could be changed through this visit only. The students remarked that an inquisitiveness to know about working of Justice system in our country had developed by this visit.

As directed by DSLSA, under “Greening Delhi Project”, DSLSA organised a Plantation Drive in Smriti Van, DDA Park, Mayur Vihar, Phase –III, Opposite Delhi Police Colony, on 28.07.2017 in the august presence of Hon’ble Mr. Justice C. Hari Shankar, Judge, High Court of Delhi.

DLSA (East) in association with District Child Protection Unit (East) organised a Special Awareness Programme for the Doctors and Staff of Gynae Department of Swami Dayanand Hospital on 28.7.2017 at 2:30 pm onwards on the topic “Prevention of Illegal Adoption”. Sh. Satish Sharma, LAC (DLSA)/East was deputed as the Resource Person to conduct the aforesaid programme by delivering lecture and having interactive session with the participants. Queries of the participants were satisfactorily responded to by the Resource Person. The programme was appreciated by all concerned.
