East Dlsa, With a view to observe “World Population Day” on 11.7.2017, DLSA (East) organised an Awareness-cum-Legal Literacy Programme for students and teachers at Arwachin International School on the topic “PC & PNDT Act & Legal Services being provided by DLSA”. Ms. Bhawani Sharma, Secretary (DLSA)/East herself attended the programme as Chief Resource Person and addressed the participants and teachers on the topics. She also had interactive session with the participants. Ms. Payal Raghav, LAC (DLSA)/East was the Resource Person who also addressed the students on the relevant topics. The programme was appreciated by the participants and all other concerned.

She addressed the students of the schools and had interactive sessions with them. The programme was appreciated by all concerned.

DLSA (East) organised Monthly National Lok Adalat on 08.07.2017 at Karkardooma Courts in which more than 2700 pending & pre-litigative cases were taken up. 14 Benches were constituted to deal with the aforesaid cases. Lok Adalat received huge response from the litigants and public and finally around 1100 cases out of the aforesaid cases were disposed of by the Courts of East District. It was a great success.
