As directed by the Hon’ble District & Sessions Judge/Chairman (DLSA)/East, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi, a Court Visit of around 40 students of Campus Law Centre including the participants of Painting Competition held on 30.09.2016 has been scheduled for 08.02.2017 at 02:00 pm onwards at Conference Hall, IIIrd Floor, Karkardooma Court, Delhi. The students are given an opportunity to observe the proceedings of various Courts, Mediation Centre, Front Office of DLSA etc. Thereafter, the students were given an opportunity to interact with Ms. Illa Rawat, Ld. POLC & Ms. Bhawani Sharma, Ld. Secretary DLSA East. At last the Prize distribution ceremony of the aforesaid painting competition organised. Apart from the winners of 1st, 2nd & 3rd position of the competition also the certificate of participation were distributed amongst all the participants. It was a successful event.

East DLSA organized a visit of students (Boys) from SBV, (School ID : 1002005), West Vinod Nagar, Delhi to observe proceedings of Karkardooma Courts on 08.02.2017. This was a nice Educational Trip for them. They watched proceedings of Courts of Metropolitan Magistrates, Sessions Judges, Additional District Judge, Additional Sessions Judge, Mediation, Front Office of DLSA East. This was a reality check for the students as they had perceived a different concept of Courts as shown in pictures which could be changed through this visit only. The students remarked that an inquisitiveness to know about working of justice system in our country had developed by this visit.

Meeting with Ld. Distt. & Session Judge, (East) & All Ld. Judges East District, North East District & Shahdara District regarding February Lok Adalat (11.02.2017) conducted on 31.01.2016.

DLSA East has organized the monthly training programme for all the Legal Aid Counsels of DLSA East on 30thJanuary 2017. Sh. AJAY SINGH SHEKHAWAT, Ld. ASCJ/JSCC/CCJ, North-East, had kindly consented to grace the occasion with his esteemed presence as Resource Person and delivered lecture and interactive session with the participants on “Remand Provisions vis-a-vis Bail”. The participants appreciated the programme. Monthly Training Programme of Criminal (MM), Session Panel, Civil, ADJ, & Family Panel Advocates, conducted on 30.02.2017.

East Dlsa organized a visit of students (Co-ed) from St. Francis School, Abhay Khand, Indrapuram, Ghaziabad, UP to observe proceedings of Karkardooma Courts on 30.01.2017. This was a nice Educational Trip for them. They watched proceedings of Courts of Metropolitan Magistrates, Sessions Judges, Additional District Judge, Additional Sessions Judge, Mediation, Front Office of DLSA East. East Dlsa in Assocation with Mandir Management Committee orgranised a Legal Awarness Progarmme on 29.01.17 Sunday at 10:30 am onwards at Sri Banke Bihari Mandir, Jheel, Delhi on the topic “Laws beneficial for the Senior Citizens & Services being Provided by DLSA”. The progamme was attended by good number of People. Ms. Payal Raghav, LAC, DLSA East, was the Resource Person who addressed the participants on the topics and had interactive session with them. She also distributed pamphlets of DLSA among the participants. the programme was appreciated by all concerned. Mandir Management Committee requested to organise such programme in future also.

Praveen Kumar Sharma, LAC of DLSA (East) was the Resource Person. Programme was highly appreciated by the school authorities and the participants.
