In compliance of the directions of Ld. Member Secretary, DSLSA, a meeting towards Security Arrangements for the BSES Lok Adalat has been convened at Karkardooma Courts wherein Secretary DLSA East, Ld. ACJ East, ACP Shahdara, SHO, Farsh Bazar and Chowki Incharge were present. Various aspects were discussed and all the issues settled to ensure proper security arrangements at Karkardooma Courts on 14.1.17 & 15.1.17 during BSES Lok Adalat.

Secretary DLSA East participated in a Training Programme as “Resource Person” on 12.1.2017 organised by the concerned Deptt of Delhi Govt for DANICS Probationers. She addressed the participants and had interactive session on the topic “Laws related to Mortgages of Immovable Property”. The Programme was very interactive and the queries of the participants were satisfactorily responded to by the Secretary DLSA East. It was appreciated by all concerned.

DLSA East organised a Legal Awareness Programme in association with “Mahila Pragati Manch” on 11.01.2017 for women on the topic “PWDVA & Sexual Harassment at workplace”. Ms. Neelam Rani, LAC DLSA – East was the Resource Person for the said programme. It was a successful event.

In compliance of directions of DSLSA, DLSA East has constituted “Help Desk at Mayur Public School at Preet Vihar, Delhi”, on 10.01.2017 by deputing PLVs to help the general public, as desired. PLVs helped several people by filling their admissions forms, informing them about several schemes etc. It was a successful move.

In compliance of directions of DSLSA, DLSA East has constituted “Help Desk at UCO Bank”, Karkardooma Courts on 10.01.17 by deputing PLVs to help the general public, as desired. PLVs helped several people by filling their Withdrawal forms, Pay in slips, ATM Card forms, withdrawing money from ATM, informing them about several schemes etc. It was a successful move.

DLSA East in association with Amba Foundation organised an Awareness Programme on the topic “Cashless Transactions & Cyber Crime” at community level on 7.1.2017. Sh. Charan Jeet, LAC DLSA East was the Resource Person for the Programme who addressed the participants on the topics and had interactive session with them. Programme was appreciated by all concerned.

1. In compliance of the directions of DSLSA, DLSA East has organised a Court Visit of Interns assigned by the DSLSA. Interns were shown the Front Office of DLSA East, running court of Ld. ASJ, Lock up at Karkardooma Courts. Thereafter, an Awareness Programme on the topic “Cashless Transactions” was organised for them wherein an expert on the subject was deputed as “Resource Person”. Secretary DLSA East herself also addressed Interns and addressed to their queries satisfactorily. Programme was appreciated by all concerned.

DSLSA alongwith DLSA East organised a Legal Literacy-cum-Awareness Programme at St. Thomas School on 31.12.16 at 10:00 am onwards on NALSA (Child Friendly Legal Services to Children and their Protection) scheme 2015″. Ms. Bhawani Sharma, Secretary/East Dlsa graced the occasion as Chief Guest and the Chief Resource Person for the aforesaid programme. Dr. Sevendu, SPYM, was the Special Invitee and Resource Person being an expert on the subject. All the Resource Persons addressed the participants on the topics. The programme was attended by large number of students and teachers and appreciated by all. It was a big success.
