Sh. Deepak Jagotra joined Delhi Higher Judicial Services in the year 2002 and ever since then he has worn many hats and deftly presided over diverse jurisdictions. He has worked as Additional District & Sessions Judge Tis Hazari Courts, as Additional District Judge (HMA) Karkardooma Courts (wherein he became the first Judge in the world to pass a decree for divorce through video-conferencing in Delhi District Courts in the year 2006), worked as Joint Registrar (Judicial) while on deputation to the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi, worked as Additional District & Sessions Judge (Electricity) Dwarka. Further, he has a vast repertoire of experience in ADR mechanism and has acted as Judge In-charge, Mediation Centre, Dwarka, presided over as Judge (Family Court), Dwarka, as Judge (Family Court) Rohini, PO (MACT) Dwarka, Principal Judge (Family Court) Saket, Principal Judge (Family Court) (Hqs). He has an enviable distinction of being the Principal District & Sessions Judge of two other Districts earlier i.e. North-East and North-West prior to donning the mantle of Principal District & Sessions Judge, East, Delhi.
