In 2022, Mr. Rakesh Kumar Saini, a 70-year-old senior citizen, filed a Consumer case against a real estate company for the recovery of money. Upon being informed about the New Delhi District Legal Services Authority (NDDLSA), he sought legal aid from the authority. Mr Arnav Narain, Legal Aid Counsel from the consumer court panel was appointed to pursue the matter. Through dedicated efforts and consistent follow-ups by NDDLSA, the case has been heard by the court and is now reserved for judgment. Grateful for the support received, Mr. Saini personally visited the NDDLSA office to express his appreciation and thank the Authority for its invaluable legal assistance.
