Opening of Legal Literacy Clubs in Schools:-
On 27th October, 2014, Delhi State Legal Services Authority inaugurated ‘Mass Legal Literacy Campaign’ and ‘Opening of Legal Literacy Clubs in Schools and Colleges’ at Plenary Hall, Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi by Hon’ble the Chief Justice of India. Hon’ble the Chief Justice of High Court of Delhi and other Hon’ble Judges of Supreme Court of India and High Court of Delhi were also present on the occasion. Since then, this Authority has established 95 Legal Literacy Clubs in Govt. and Govt. Aided Schools. Organized legal literacy classes in 68 schools in the year 2014 and 38 legal literacy classes organized from Jan, 2015 to March, 2015.
The Judicial Officers and Legal Services Advocates were the resource persons in these programmes.
