In 2009, Mr. Parminder was initially apprehended by the Haridwar police in connection with a vehicle theft and the use of a counterfeit number plate. Subsequently, the case was transferred to Delhi in 2022. Pursuant to request for appointment of Legal Aid counsel, Mr. Samir Mudgil, from the MM panel, was appointed by the New Delhi District Legal Services Authority (NDDLSA) to represent Mr. Parminder. Through diligent efforts and continuous follow-ups by the NDDLSA, the case was presented before the court, which rendered a judgment of acquittal on 22.02.2025. In recognition of the invaluable legal assistance provided, Mr. Parminder personally visited the NDDLSA office to convey his sincere gratitude and appreciation for the support extended to him.
