East District Legal Services Authority, under the aegis of NALSA and DSLSA, organized a Mega Camp for Labourers on 06.06.2026 at JalebiChowk,Kalyanpuri, Delhi, in association with CDMO, East District.
The camp was organized with the objective of extending welfare benefits and essential services to construction workers and daily wage laborers. Various facilitation and assistance desks were established at the venue, Including:
- Medical Assistance and Health Kit Distribution
- Labour Card Facilitation
- Aadhar Card Updation
- Legal Assistance Desk
- Photograph Capturing Facility
An awareness session onLabour Laws and the NALSA (Legal Services to the Workers in the Unorganized Sector) Scheme, 2015 was conducted at 07:30 AM.
As part of the Heat-Wave Preparedness initiative, Primary Heat-Relief Kits, ORS, and Gamchawere distributed among the workers to mitigate the adverse effects of extreme heat conditions and to promote awareness regarding preventive measures against heat-related illnesses.
The camp witnessed active participation from construction workers and laboures. The camp concluded successfully with the objective of ensuring access to welfare measures, healthcare assistance, social security benefits, and legal services for workers.
