DLSA South-East, under the aegis of NALSA and DSLSA, organised an awareness session in association with Vipla Foundation as part of the week-long celebration of Independence Day 2026 on the topic “Protecting Childhood, Protecting the Future: Legal Awareness on Child Rights” on 14.08.2026 at Taimoor Nagar. Adv. Mohini, Legal Services Advocate (LSA), DLSA South-East, acted as the Resource Person and sensitised the participants about child rights, legal protections available to children, and the importance of ensuring a safe and secure environment for their growth and development. The participants were also made aware of DSLSA Helpline No. 1516 (24×7) and NALSA Helpline No. 15100 for seeking legal assistance. The programme witnessed the participation of approximately 25 beneficiaries.
