Shahdara District Legal Services Authority organized an Awareness Session on “Constitutional Rights” on 07.09.2026 for the Children with disability.
During the session, the children were apprised about the significance of the Constitution of India and the fundamental rights guaranteed to every individual. The session particularly focused on Fundamental Rights, including the Right to Equality, Right to Freedom, Right against Exploitation, Right to Freedom of Religion, Cultural and Educational Rights, and Right to Constitutional Remedies.
The role of Legal Services Authorities in providing free legal aid and assistance to children was also explained. The children were encouraged to speak freely about their concerns and to seek timely assistance whenever required.
