In case with FIR No. 232/13 PS: GTB Enclave, Ms. Sapna (Acid Attack
Victim) was granted interim compensation of Rs. 50,000/- vide order dated
13.12.2013. As per Delhi Victims Compensation Scheme, further interim
compensation of Rs. 2,50,000/- was awarded to the victim vide order dated
28.12.2013.
Later, on completion of the trial, vide order dated 19.09.2017, victim was
granted Rs. 1,50,000/- as final compensation. Vide said order dated
19.09.2017, directions were given to Principal secretary, Health and Family
Welfare, Government of NCT, Delhi to ensure adequate arrangement to
provide free medical cost cover for treatment and surgeries of the victim.
The said compensation awarded to the victim helped her to turn up her life and
later, she also got permanent job with DSLSA and she joined her duties as
L.D.C.
The said help could successfully rehabilitate life of the victim.
