Shahdara District Legal Services Authority under the aegis of NALSA and DSLSA has conducted a Legal awareness session at Mahila Panchayat, Double Storey, Seelampur within Shahdara district on 23rd March, 2024, from 011:00 a. m. To 01:00 p. m.

We discussed about the provisions of DV Act, Dowry and PCPNDT Act and how the reliefs stated under the DV Act and how they help different aggrieved persons. It is also discussed in the session why DV Act is required in the current scenario and the importance of DLSA and NALSA. The members were informed about the purpose of this awareness session and about different scenarios which we face in DV Act, and Dowry. It is also informed that in order to keep us going it is important to learn how to avoid unnecessary struggles and only time can change few things and it is important for us to find sustainable ways to manage our relationship.
We discussed different aspects of our life and the things we long for. The whole awareness programme was quite interactive as questions and suggestions were asked from the members to which they replied enthusiastically and answered the questions and even shared her own experience with us.

The members and locals were given information about Legal Awareness session to which they raised several questions which were answered satisfactorily.
