To commemorate International Women’s Day, observed on 08th March 2026, the Shahdara District Legal Services Authority organized a week-long programme. On 02.03.2026, Shahdara DLSA conducted an awareness session for women on the topic “Important Legal Provisions relating to Domestic Violence, Maintenance, and Availability of Free Legal Services for Women.”

During the session, the resource person deputed for the programme sensitized the women participants about key legal provisions concerning domestic violence and maintenance, as well as the availability of free legal aid. The session was well-received and appreciated by all concerned.
