A legal awareness session was organised by the Shahdara District Legal Services Authority on 23.05.2026 at Nand Nagri under the DAWN- Drug Awareness and Wellness Navigation Scheme with the objective of spreading awareness regarding prevention of drug abuse and its legal consequences.

During the session, resource person explained the causes leading to substance abuse among youth and discussed preventive measures, counselling facilities, and rehabilitation support available through legal and social welfare mechanisms.
